In a world gone mad with celebrating. It's time to sit back and say "NO" and to say "Other things as well."
With more and more holidays emerging from this day and that day, and it's my birthday and her birthday. It's my dogs birthday, and all that.
Heck we're even celebrating a day today.. It's Pi Day. I think that's how they spell it. It's number however is sometimes 3.14 and sometimes has a whole bunch of numbers to follow.
While today may be a bunch of peoples birthdays as well as Pi Day, according to Wikipedia. My source for everything wiki'd. It's also a Christian Feast Day, Matilda of Ringelheim style. As well as the Constitution Day of a small land locked country in Europe called Andorra. It's also the earliest day on which Lazarus Saturday can fall, while April 17 is the latest; observed on the day before Palm Sunday. Over at Saint Vincent and the Grenadines it's Heroes' Day, too bad I don't have any of those for hire. In Estonia it's Mother Tongue Day, which kind of creeps me out, even a cow's tongue does. Then we have the Nanakshahi New Year, I wonder if Dick Clark does this event too. Then according to the old Roman Empire is the Second Equirria, which I don't know what it is, but it has something to do with Mars, which makes one think. And finally, wait, there's a few more. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We have over in Albania it's Spring Day. Which with my current weather situation seems like it happened a few weeks ago.
With so many holidays... Wait there's one more just for today, it's White Day. Hmm.... I'm glad they didn't have this one last month. Oh, wait, it happens in Japan and Korea, I thought they hated each other there. Hmm... Well, it's the complementary day of Valentine's Day, it's when men give gifts to women or women give gifts to men.... WAIT!!! I thought we already had this day? It's called any day that ends in Y!!! Because Y would anyone!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!
Back to the subject at hand, we have so many holidays, so many celebrations, when are we just going to stop!? I mean we celebrate everything. We even have different kinds of parties like surprise parties. It's like --- SURPRISE IT'S A PARTY!!!
Well, it's time for us to just stop. Sit back and relax calm down. I mean come on, what's next? What are we going to throw surprise parties for everything? Like...
