I'm not sure, but for whatever reason the market place is a buzz.

Some McDonald's are offering 29 cent burgers.

The local grocery store has various offerings in or around 29.

And even the local hamburger joint not known as McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's or even Five Guys is doing something.

Yes, that's right! My favorite place, Juicy Burger! They got this nice buy one get one free offer. It's so tasty sounding, I will be hitting them up for dinner tonight!

While this special day gives a chance for retailers and places of food an opportunity to get people to come in and try their deals to make some "extra" money on this "extra" day. It's a special day for us here at Hachland.

It marks the 4th time we've had one of these days. Since we've been around since or about the year 2000. Yes, we are the Y2K problem.

With Christmas having Santa Clause, Easter having a big fuzzy bunny. I'm not too sure what Leap Day has to offer.

But according to the television show 30 Rock.... It has this to offer....

It's a Leap Day miracle! They even went as far as to have Jim Carrey play a character named Leap Dave Williams in a movie that was shown through out the episode.

Yet, in my humble land, we didn't much celebrate Leap Day. It seemed much like a Groundhog Day, with work and all.

Minus the Leap Day Blizzard of 2012!!

But then again, from our records here at Hachland, this is the first ever post in all of are years that we actually took the time to do something on this day.

Which could be quite strange, if you think about it. But then again it's completely strange. It took 4 attempts to do this. WOW!

I somewhat think this should be a bigger story, or at least I should somewhat do more. But the overwhelmingness of it all is well... Hmmm.. I think I just used the word I wanted to use.

Hmmm.....

How about I talk about the epic rareness of things.. like maybe, the fact that not for more than one month did Hachland have one permanent web design.

Or not for more than a few consecutive months did things stay well, on track here at Hachland.

How about after all the years, and all the booze... how about we all band together and make Hachland what it should have been at the first Leap Day... Let's Leap together to this Leaping Lizard of a day...
