Steve Young Number One Suspect
With the internet a buzz with the sudden death of Junior Seau. Speculation is still beginning the main speculation is was it a murder or was it a suicide?

The shocking news is hitting the world hard right now, especially the sports world. Where Junior Seau spent nearly his entire career playing football. A sport that he loved and who loved him back showing him greatness as a 12 time Pro Bowler and numerous other accolades. He has played for numerous teams such as a short stint with the Miami Dolphins, four years or so with the New England Patriots and a decade plus run with the San Diego Chargers.

While a member of the Chargers in 1994, Seau had helped lead the Chargers to the Super Bowl. Where they would ultimately lose to the San Francisco 49ers lead by quarterback Steve Young. It was one of the most lopsided games in Super Bowl history. As Young would go on to throw six touchdowns and completely embarrass the Chargers.

Seau is now the 8th member of the 1994 Chargers to have passed away. With recent teammates Shawn Lee and Lew Bush dying with the past few years. The speculation that there is a curse among the former players is growing and growing.

While even DeadSpin.com has a story where they say that there is a curse like what was seen in the movie Final Destination is chasing down the former Chargers players.

Yet, we here at Hachland News think there is even more to the story. We think the man who broke the heart of all those players back at the Super Bowl XXIX. Yes, we're talking about Steve Young!

In 1994 Steve Young embarrassed the San Diego Chargers in the Super Bowl. Since then 8 of those players on the opposing team have passed away. With Junior Seau being the latest the speculation is that Steve Young is the killer.

The Chargers who have passed away are:

Five months after that Super Bowl, LB David Griggs drove his car off a freeway ramp and slammed into a sign pole. Subsequent tests would show that his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.

In 1996, RB Rodney Culver and his wife were aboard ValuJet FLight 592 from Miami to Atlanta when it crashed into the Everglades, killing all on board.

In 1998, LB Doug Miller was struck by lightning while camping in Colorado. CPR was being performed on Miller when he was struck again by a second bolt.

In 2008, C Curtis Whitley was found dead in his trailer in Texas. Whitley had a history of substance abuse and had twice been suspended by the NFL, and toxicology results pointed to an accidental overdose.

Also in 2008, DE Chris Mims was discovered facedown on the bathroom floor of his Los Angeles apartment. An autopsy revealed an enlarged heart, and Mims weighed 456 pounds at his death.

February 2011, DT Shawn Lee died from cardiac arrest brought on by years of complications with diabetes.

Later in December of 2011, Bush suffered a heart attack at his home in San Diego. Since retiring in 2002, friends say he had struggled with his weight.

Now with most of these deaths being caused by random acts of craziness one must suspect something else is behind them. As we think Steve Young is the main culprit. Now we don't have any real stories or cause to back this up. But I know if we got Nancy Grace on this story we would have more speculation.
