Recently at the urging of my girlfriend I signed up with one of these Pinterest accounts. She pushed the great things that the website could do such as pinning and pinning. I didn't quite get the concept until I was forced into signing up. So I signed up pinned a few things. Then thought what's the big deal, I'm not having all that fun.
So I went back and started work on another little Hachland project. Getting a few viewers from friends and friends of friends I decided maybe I give this Pinterest a try. So I did. I attacked it with a barrage of pictures linking them to sub pages all over Hachland. Some of them go liked and some of them got repined, which in the Pinterest world means people not only liked them but they're adding them to their boards.
With every little pin and repin I got more and more excited. I got a few more viewers and more and more people started coming. Then it all went black. And by black I mean it went from in the red to the epic black.
You see the other day I posted an article about how the Barenaked Ladies song was in the Big Bang Theory and then I went through their extensive playlist of songs and then came up with other television show ideas based on their songs. Then when I was finished I took the page and pinned it to Pinterest. Choosing one picture in which was titled "If I Had A Million Dollars."
Chaos has since ensued. After initially posting the picture the article had topped the most read page of Hachland, not just of this current venture but of all-time. By all-time since 2000 and then some. This amazed me and made me quite warm inside almost like I was happy.
Then the other day I attacked Pinterest again. This time choosing another picture from the same post, maybe I should have chosen another, but this one was entitled "The Alcohol Theory" Again I was attacked with a whole bunch of new views. Again I was happy even excited.
So now with the new found interest or well, let's say easy viewership's I can obtain my posting a picture on Facebook, I will test the theory. The theory being I can post at least two types of pictures one being about a million dollars or one on alcohol.
Yet, I'm thinking of testing the theory some more. You see I've obtained a small group of followers over in the Pinterest sector and some were following me before the Theory Theory came out. A few people like my Frank From M*A*S*H says and some like some random other things.
Yet, nothing was as big as these two previously mentioned posts. So what I'm going to do is go out and research the most blingiest, fanciest thing I can think of. No, no, I'm not posting a picture of Bling Bling from Bum Fights or even Flavor Flav.
What I was thinking was something girls like. Maybe something with flowers or bright colors. I could make a pin wheel type color thing but that wouldn't hit fairly well. Maybe I can find something on Google. If not try Google right?
Ehhh.. you know what scratch that. Let's just post a picture of these nice socks I love to wear. I mean don't you love wearing these hot fancy colors?
If that doesn't work I can always try....

and if that doesn't work we could always try the simple things I like to eat like COOKIES
